Mark Swain is an author, sales trainer, business advisor and fi ntech investor with over 25 years strategic sales experience at executive level with companies such as American Express, ANZ Bank and Ingram Micro. Mark’s international banking career spawned $10 Billion in new transaction values mandated and over $100 Million of profi ts won in the Financial Services & Technology industries.
During this career Mark developed a methodology that helped him consistently deliver sales out-performance, which also assisted him launching and growing his own successful tech start-up in the UK.
Mark has 30 years technology & payment innovation experience gained working in Europe, Asia and Australia. He exited his first start up Microtech Distribution successfully at the age of 25 and went on to a 20 year strategic sales career in global Financial services He is a 2017 FinTech Future Commerce Cohort at MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology), certified by Association of Corporate Treasurers in International Treasury Management (CertITM) and International Cash Management (CertICM) Macquarie Graduate School of Management (MGSM) Management.
After a successful career, Mark now spends the majority of his time mentoring and investing in high growth tech start-up’s as well as running a boutique sales advisory firm helping banks and financial services companies win big transactions, faster.
Mark Swain is Author of the book BANKING 2020 which explores the major trends, challenges, and opportunities affecting banking. He has also developed the sales guide No Sales No Sleep – the stressed bankers guide to sales growth and job security’which explains how to increase sales in a rapidly changing financial ecosystem.
