Biography
Matt opened the Confirmation Japan office in July 2016, having arrived first in Japan in April 2007. Originally from the US, he started his career working in OTC derivatives for a bank in Germany before transferring to London. Returning to the US for a MBA, Matt then worked for a hedge fund, in commodities and finally in wealth management. While in Japan, Matt has served as business manager for treasury, asset management and global markets teams for both a Japanese and US bank. In his free time he enjoys the Tokyo food scene and exploring various parts of Japan, with many more destinations on the list!
