Ray is Executive Director of the System Information and Analytics Branch – the authoritative and trusted source of information and analytics for the System Manager, pursuing a vision of “Better Data, Better Decisions, Better Care”. This data drives the purchasing of more than $21 billion of health services across NSW and supports system wide performance improvement initiatives.
Ray has worked across academia, government and the private sector in Canadian and Australian health systems and has 15+ years of experience as a health economist. Before joining NSW Health, Ray worked for PwC’s Health Economics and Policy team working with clients across primary, secondary and tertiary sectors.
Ray most enjoys forging and fostering partnerships and using data and analytics in new and innovative ways to improve care. Giving clinicians and teams the right information at the right time in the right format to translate research to outcome is exciting and rewarding!
