Sanjeev Gupta commenced in February 2022 and is HBF’s Chief Information & Transformation Officer. In this position, Mr Gupta has led the HBF’s transformation program that involves replacement of the Core Insurance Platform, CRM, all Digital Assets including customer and employee portals, Website and App, Marketing Automation, and the Data Platform – all moving the Public Cloud and also implemented a Scaled Agile Model across the entire business for the ongoing way of working. Mr Gupta is also responsible for leading HBF’s technology – including technology risk, delivery, infrastructure and operations, solutions, and cloud engineering – as well as managing HBF’s core technology platforms and driving improvements to enhance workplace practices and member value.
Mr Gupta has more than 30 years’ experience leading large and diverse teams at organisations including Greenstone Financial Services, HCF, Cover-More Group, Wesfarmers Insurance and Fuji Xerox Australia. He has delivered several significant and complex digital transformation programs and is passionate about leveraging data, analytics and technology to achieve business strategy.
In addition to his role at HBF, Mr Gupta is a member of the advisory board for the Business Information Management Program at the University of South Australia’s School of Computer and Information Science.
Mr Gupta holds a Bachelor of Technology (Hons) from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, and a Master of Business Administration (Technology Management) from Deakin University.
