Steve has been in technology since the late 1970’s where he started his career designing data network equipment for the Commonwealth Bank while working his way through an electrical engineering degree.
He continued in hardware and software esign into the early 1990’s, to become one of the first Australians to join Optus as a product engineer on their earlier products. He then moved to Japan to take up a position with a US Carrier, Sprint, then Boston to work in a technology start-up and then The Netherlands as the VP of Technology for a Pan European cable company deploying internet based products across Europe.
Steve then moved to London to assume the CTO position for Telstra’s International Business before coming back to Australia to run Cloud Operations for Telstra and then Director of Technical Support for Amazon Web Services. In 2018 Steve joined NAB as Executive, Enterprise Technology
