Stuart Bremner is the Chief Technology Officer for Insurance at DXC Technology in Australia and New Zealand.
Stuart joined DXC from Insurance and Care NSW (icare), one of Australia’s largest general insurers, where he was the Chief Information Officer, and successfully led the organisation’s digital transformation including the customer-centric, cloud-only, secure, digital enterprise platforms that support the $5.7B business.
Stuart has held senior roles in financial service organisations including
Executive General Manager, Wealth and Insurance, at Kiwibank, General Manager, ASB Group Investments and was a Vice President at Goldman Sachs Investment Bank.
Stuart is a veteran of applying technology to transform businesses commencing in the mid-90s when he led the program to take global publisher, John Wiley, online, fundamentally changed the way academic journals were accessed, and facilitated new non-subscription business models.
Stuart has a BSc in Applied Software Engineering, an MBA from the University of Oxford and is a Certified Practicing Accountant and a Chartered Company Secretary.
