Suresh Chandrasekaran is Vice President of Global Financial Solutions (GFS) with responsibility for the growth and expansion of First Data’s GFS business across the ASEAN region.
Suresh joined First Data in August 2016. During his time with the organisation, he has held a number of leadership roles from program delivery, sales support, product management and business development across First Data’s Global Financial Solutions business in APAC.
Based in Singapore, Suresh is an experienced professional in the payments and fintech industry. He has spent over 25 years delivering payment solutions to financial institutions and enterprises across APAC and USA. He was involved in the architecture, design and implementation of global payment platforms, new market development and new product development. Prior to joining First Data, Suresh worked at GE Money in the USA for over 10 years. He holds a Bachelors in Engineering (Electronics & Communication) from Madurai Kamaraj University, India.
