As Chief Information Officer at Zurich Financial Services, Volker leads the technology team to define and implement Zurich’s IT strategies, including operating model, sourcing strategy and application roadmap. He is accountable for all IT services, including application, infrastructure, end user services and service management.
Volker has excellent knowledge of insurance processes and their underlying IT services and components. With deep understanding of IT outsourcing, both in a global and local environment, he drives customer focused organisational change with local and global interdependencies.
