Baneesha is a Senior Consultant at Swiss Re and the Australia and New Zealand lead for their data and analytics platform solution and consulting services. She is responsible for developing and implementing analytics solutions, machine learning models and artificial intelligence systems for insurance clients to help them unlock the power of their data. An actuary and mathematics major by training, Baneesha comes with over 15 years’ experience in the superannuation and insurance industry and prior to joining SwissRe, held a variety of roles within actuarial valuations, pricing, product management, strategic partnerships and senior management. With a strong drive to support our industry with data-driven solutions, Baneesha views data and analytics as a fundamental enabler to steer portfolios, grow business and better understand customer behaviours.
