Mr. Dipak Nair is the Chief Technology Officer at Tata AIG General Insurance. He is leading the Information Technology and Business Solutions Group functions. Dipak took over the role in June 2016. Dipak has over 22 years of experience in Information Technology, and since year 2000 he has been associated with the insurance domain. Prior to joining Tata AIG General Insurance Company Limited, he was the Senior Vice President – IT with ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company with a tenure of 11.5 yrs where he was instrumental in building the technology architecture and capabilities for the company. Having started his career working for technology startup’s building innovative software products, Dipak made the transition into working for insurance companies with his tenure at Aviva Life Insurance in 2002.
Dipak is a specialist in IT Architecture & Strategy and has experience in managing all-round technology deliverables for a company covering specialized domains such as Enterprise architecture and tech strategy, emerging technologies, solution design, insurance policy admin & business applications, Infrastructure, Security, Governance & compliance.
In the current role, Dipak is responsible for aligning technology and business objectives and bringing advancements in technological capabilities of the organization. Mr. Nair holds a Bachelor of Technology (Computer Systems) specializing in Strategic use of IT.
