Chris has more than thirty years of experience in the IT industry with a focus on digital. With a résumé boasting senior roles from startups to large consulting organisations, his career highlights include being an integral part of the project that launched the first retail internet banking system in Australia; founder and CEO of the first specialist software development house for mobile apps in Australia; and CTO of the global innovation award-winning augmented reality app Netpage. At Temenos, Chris is the Global Go-to-Market lead for Journey Manager and is a specialist in digital onboarding.
Chris is English by birth and, after being awarded a Commonwealth Scholarship, moved to Australia where he earned his PhD in digital cloud monitoring systems.
Chris has a broad technical skillset, is passionate about mobile, web performance, testing and DevOps. With a deep understanding of the HTTP protocol, he isolated a bug in Google Chrome’s implementation of the HTTP 304 response.
As a passionate communicator and storyteller, Chris has spoken internationally about digital banking and the cloud. His focus is applying his learnings, to see the problem through the eyes of the customer undertaking their financial journey, and to articulate solutions that deliver tangible value to clients in meaningful timeframes.
