Gurindar Singh Head’s the Insurance Business Development at Amazon Web Services (AWS) for Asia Pacific region based out of Singapore. In his role, Gurindar is responsible for the development and execution of AWS’s Go-To-Market initiatives across all facets of Insurance (life and non-life insurance, reinsurance, and brokers) across the Asia Pacific region. Gurindar has close to 20 years of experience in the insurance industry across insurance carriers and software solution providers, resulting in an extensive experience and understanding of core systems, distribution, underwriting, and claims processes in the insurance industry.
Prior to joining AWS, Gurindar was leading the insurance solutions and product portfolio and the digital insurance initiatives at DXC Technology Asia. At DXC, he helped guide the transition from on-premise software to cloud-based software and also launch of the digital insurance platform for the Asian market. Before DXC he was an underwriter and claims and group operations leader at Birla Sunlife Insurance and Aviva Life Insurance.
