Melroy Vanlangenberg is the Head of Data Governance at Australian Unity. Melroy’s role is to provide subject matter guidance and direction for all data governance related activities within the Australian Unity Group.
With over 20 years’ experience in the IT industry, Melroy is very passionate in helping organisations utilise and enhance their data assets to create business value.
Prior to joining Australian Unity, Melroy was the Data Manager & Architect of LUCRF Super. He holds a Master of Business Analytics from Deakin University. He was awarded the postgraduate dean’s merit list 2016 academic excellence award for his postgraduate academic performance. He also holds the Associate Certified Data Management Professional certification from DAMA international and Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) certification and Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer (CDPSE) certification from ISACA.
Melroy is oriented towards continuous learning and development. He has served as the Marketing & Communications Director on the board of ISACA Melbourne Chapter. He is also a speaker and guest lecturer and has lectured in some of the leading universities in Australia.
