Michael is currently General Manager Information Security for HESTA, an Industry Super fund with 880,000 members and $60Bn funds under management. Michael has significant experience in Technology and Information Security having worked in multiple industries and geographies for both global organisations and SME’s. His life journey began in the military where he learnt the core principles of decision making under uncertainty and remaining calm in the face of adversity.
Michael has completed Post Graduate Studies in Strategic Planning at Edinburgh Business School, Executive Education in Decision Quality at University of Texas and is currently certified in Applied Information Economics, GIAC Security Leadership, OpenFAIR Cyber Risk Quantification and Red Team Thinking.
