With over 30 years’ experience, Mick is a seasoned security professional. He’s worked across a broad range of industries including telecommunications, professional services, finance, federal and state government, and defence.

Mick is the Chief Information Security Officer at Australian Super while in his previous role at nbn Mick provided strategic and operational security advice across one of Australia’s biggest infrastructure projects. This involved physical and personnel security services, investigative and privacy services. In this role as General Manager Security Governance, Planning & Performance at NBN, Mick was accountable for driving consistency and accountability across all security group activities, supporting business objectives and meeting the expectations of government.

Prior to working at NBN, Mick held senior positions in KPMG and the Federal Attorney General’s department following a long career with the Royal Australian Navy.
