A technologist and a banker, Rob has more than 30 years of global experience working in both financial services and technology, as well in start-ups. A leader of innovation and both digital, and data and core transformations, Rob has a strong track record in driving strategic transformation programs.
At BOQ, Rob is responsible for driving a renewed technology strategy and architecture that supports the Group’s digital transformation strategy and future growth agenda.
Rob joined BOQ from Westpac where he was Group CTO and led the Strategy & Innovation, Architecture, Consulting, Transformation, GRC, Strategic Sourcing and Cyber Security functions. He also played a key role in the planning and execution of their Cloud, Data and Customer Hub transformations. Previous to this, he held senior management roles at CBA, SAP, Deutsche Bank, Nationwide and Standard Bank.
Educated in Australia, Europe and the US, Rob holds an Economics & Econometrics degree from University of NSW, with executive study in Europe & the US. Robert is married and has one son.
