Dr. Xinghao Pan is the distinguished Chief Data Scientist at the Ministry of Defence of Singapore. In this pivotal role, he is entrusted with overseeing data management and protection within MINDEF, while also spearheading the development and deployment of cutting-edge data science and AI solutions. Dr. Pan brings a wealth of experience to his current position, having spent 14 years at DSO National Laboratories, where he held the esteemed roles of Principal Member of Technical Staff and Head of the Digital Capability Department. During this tenure, he dedicated his efforts to pioneering research in machine learning and artificial intelligence, driving forward the application, utilisation, and capabilities of these transformative technologies.
