FST Government Western Australia
The Western Australia government has appointed its first GCIO under a $25 million reform program that is designed to cut costs and deliver better services to the community. In 2016, under its high-profile reforms agenda, the WA government seeks to improve operational efficiencies and adopt a smarter and more cost-effective ICT procurement strategy.Despite the need to remain conservative with budgetary spend, there is still significant IT investment within portfolios such as Police and Health. These investments are a direct result of these portfolios generating measureable returns on their investments.
FST Government Western Australia is an exclusive event that caters to the information needs of senior decision makers, with content that is specific to investment initiatives over the next 6-12 months. This forum is structured around practical case studies, interactive panels, and a series of rotating peer-to-peer discussion tables of up-to 8 thought leaders. These tables enable attendees to gain relevant and cross-agency insights into technologies-of-choice, the ROI for investments, and ways to streamline front-line service delivery.
Each peer-to-peer table features a different topic and is hosted by a technology expert and an industry moderator. Following detailed research, attendees are carefully selected through an invitation-only process to join these discussions over an information-packed day that focuses on open government policies and direct dialogue with the industry.
