Charles Pizzato is a senior executive in the financial services industry holding various roles in technology, leading transformation and introducing innovation to improve customer experience and operational efficiency. He is an expert in IT strategy, designing, building and maintaining IT infrastructure and managing IT teams in the financial services industry.
Charles is the Executive General Manager of IT Infrastructure at Suncorp Group supporting iconic brands including Suncorp, AAMI, GIO, Vero, Shannons and APIA. He is leading the development of a market-leading platform to make it easier and faster for customers to interact with Suncorp brands, products and services to assist their financial well being.
Prior to that he was head of Core Banking and Identity where he was instrumental in introducing Suncorp’s new core banking platform and managing product migrations of Lending and Deposits products.
Charles has an MBA from QUT and is a keen observer of trends that will benefit customers and staff. He has great communication skills and a highlight of his work is seeing his people succeed in their professional and personal lives. He is a big believer in working efficiently and effectively ensuring a work-life balance and leads by example by managing a busy career with a passion for competitive dance and chess.
