About the Event

FST Media has a proud history of bringing the industry’s thought leaders together to help shape the future of financial services throughout Asia, in 2022 we’re delighted to reconnect with leaders throughout the region to define the Future of Financial Services within the ASEAN region.

FST Media ran its inaugural Technology & Innovation – The Future of Financial Services event in Singapore in 2011, before expanding the series to Malaysia, Hong Kong, Indonesia and Thailand. This hugely successful series brought together leaders from across the financial services landscape to discuss the impact emerging technologies and strategic innovations were having on banking, insurance, wealth and investments.

While COVID-19 affected our ability to deliver these industry-leading events in 2020 and 2021 it has not kept us down. As such, we’re delighted to once again bring together financial services leaders with our unified Future of Financial Services, ASEAN event.

The future of the internet will be based on trusted digital relationships. Consumers and companies will shift to adopt the concept of “trust is a two-way street.” From improving customer experience through seamless single sign-on (SSO) to making multi-factor authentication (MFA) quick and easy, your login box must find the right balance between user convenience, security, and privacy. In fact, we believe that the companies that will succeed in the next five years will be the ones best-equipped to meet the ever-growing consumer expectations for these three attributes.

Key Points:

  • How to adapt to customers’ expectations, and improve customer experience: they are embarrassed with user friction getting customers to sign up for and access digital service – they have multiple apps and can’t personalise the experience;
  • Team productivity: Challenge of wasting their best engineer’s time and efforts on building and maintaining multiple in-house identity services;
  • How to modernise your applications and move them to modern architecture;
  • How to meet regulatory requirements and store customer data securely
  • ANZ is adopting modern building block - cloud, data, automation - to drive fundamentally new market offerings like ANZ Plus
  • Technology drives our customer Propositions, establishes Platforms, connects Partners and fundamentally shapes the Purpose of our people.
  • All the technology is available off the shelf.  The hard part though is how you apply it
  • Migrating complex enterprise workloads to the cloud with minimal downtime
  • Cloud 2.0: The begining of a new age of cloud innovation
