Dr. Raveendra has been with TCS for more than 25 years and is currently CTO for the Insurance vertical based out of Chennai, India. He is passionate about bringing domain focus among his teams in addition to the technology focus to serve the customers better.
While he studied Artificial Neural Networks extensively from his doctoral program days, his current research interest is to apply various AI topics like Explainable AI, Adversarial AI, Emotion AI, etc to the contexts of Insurance, Banking, and Capital Markets.
He has handled program delivery of several global customers from his early days at TCS. He has managed several large transformational programs since 2001. He handled several functions like Delivery, PreSales, and Technology Excellence being part of the Insurance Unit Leadership team.
Dr. Raveendra received his MS and Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. He has published several papers in peer-reviewed International Journals and Conferences on Triangulation Algorithms and Software Engineering. He served as a Member of the Academic Council, Hindustan University, Chennai, India.
