As Chief Operations Officer, Suzi is responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the General Insurance business for Zurich in Australia and New Zealand. Her roles and responsibilities encompass everything from business transformation and automation to oversight of the real estate. It is this breadth and diversity of responsibility that keeps every day exciting!
Suzi Leung was appointed as Chief Operations Officer for the General Insurance business in January 2021.Suzi first started in private practice as an Insurance Litigator and has held a number of Claims and Operational roles within Zurich both in Australia, Switzerland and North America. She holds a Business (International Business) degree and a Law degree from the University of Technology, Sydney.
A passionate people leader, Suzi believes that people and culture are the crux of an organization’s success. Committed to being a leader rather than a manager, she is proud of be part of the Executive team of Zurich and even prouder to be a role model to her two young daughters.
